2013 Jersey Choice Top Doctor

Michael E. Pollack, MD  has been named a 2013 Jersey Choice Best Doctor in New Jersey Monthly ‘s annual survey. Dr. Pollack, a sports medicine specialist at the Hunterdon Orthopaedic Institute, was one of 28 Orthopaedists given this designation in the entire state of New Jersey.

Ballots were sent to the state’s practicing physicians asking them who they would send a loved one to in more than forty specialties. NJ Monthly’s  peer review process commission an independent survey of over 22,000 NJ based doctors. Final professional selections are reviewed by a panel of 24 doctors.

“I pride myself on providing the complete spectrum of care for all shoulder, elbow, and knee problems, and enjoy caring for active and athletic patients of all ages,” he says. “Everything I do in my practice is geared toward customizing care for the individual patient and avoiding unnecessary surgery. If surgery is indicated, my training and technique minimize the surgical procedure, decrease pain, and accelerate recovery time.”

Fellowship trained in shoulder, knee, and minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Pollack also routinely treats all athletic injuries and fractures. He is a partner at the Hunterdon Orthopaedic Institute (HOI), also known as the Orthopaedics Institute, an 11-physician, regional multi-specialty practice that has delivered musculoskeletal care for more than four decades.
